Terms of sale
The agreement between you and us when you buy a piece.
Who you are buying from
Your contract is with [NOMBRE Y APELLIDOS], tax identification number [DNI CON LETRA], registered at [CALLE Y NUMERO, CP CIUDAD, ESPANA], contactable at [email protected].
These terms apply to consumers. They do not limit any right the law gives you.
What you are buying
A string art portrait: Circle · 40 cm, built from a single thread wound around 200 nails, from the photograph you supplied.
Small variations in thread tension and density are inherent to the technique and are part of the object, not a defect. The preview you see when designing is a faithful representation, not a photograph of the finished piece.
The photograph you upload
By ordering, you confirm that you own the photograph or have permission to use it, and that turning it into a portrait infringes nobody else’s rights.
We may refuse and refund any order whose source image is unlawful, or which depicts someone who plainly has not consented.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros and include any applicable tax. The current price of a piece is €59,99 EUR.
Shipping is not included in that figure. It is quoted at checkout from your postcode, before you pay, and added to the total.
Payment is taken by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
When the contract is made
Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract exists once payment is confirmed and we send you the confirmation email. Until that email arrives, no contract has been formed.
Production and delivery
We need about 3 business days to wind a piece. Delivery then takes roughly 2–5 business days within the European Union and 5–10 business days to the United States.
Those windows are honest estimates, not guarantees, and they exclude delays caused by the carrier or by customs.
Orders shipped to the United States
The price you pay covers the piece and the shipping. It does not cover import duties, tax or customs handling charges levied when the parcel enters the United States.
Those are set by the destination country, are payable by you, and are usually collected by the carrier before delivery. We cannot calculate or absorb them.
If something is wrong with your piece
You have the legal guarantee of conformity. If a piece arrives damaged, faulty, or materially different from what you ordered, you are entitled to have it repaired or replaced and, failing that, to a reduction or a refund.
That guarantee runs for three years from delivery under Spanish law. It is separate from, and unaffected by, the withdrawal rules described on the returns page.
Cancelling and returning
Because each piece is made from your own photograph, the fourteen-day right of withdrawal does not apply to it. This is set out in full, with the exceptions, on our returns page — please read it before ordering.
Law and disputes
Spanish law governs this contract. As a consumer resident elsewhere in the European Union, you keep every protection your own law grants you and may sue in the courts where you live.
